For this issue, "subject user" refers to the base user on which other users ("controlling users") have permissions.

  • A controlling user with EDIT_DISPLAY_NAME on a subject user should be able to modify the subject user's display name.
  • A controlling user with EDIT_USERNAME on a subject user should be able to modify the subject user's username.
  • A controlling user with EDIT_PROFILE on a subject user should be able to modify the subject user's profile information.
  • A controlling user with SEE_ALL_TASKS_OF on a subject user should be able to view all namespaces accessible to the subject user.
  • A controlling user with ACT_AS on a subject user should be able to perform any action that the subject user can perform on all namespaces accessible to the subject user.

Administration

  • A controlling user with ADMINISTRATE on a subject user should be able to edit the permissions of the subject user's self-role, including removing the subject user's default ADMINISTRATE permission on themselves.
