We want users to be able to write down rich, detailed descriptions of their tasks. Markdown formatting would give users a lot of extra features to use to make their tasks look nice.

  • Select a markdown rendering library
  • Switch the task description create/edit boxes to be long-form text entry
  • Include some indication that markdown is supported
  • Integrate markdown rendering into the templates
